Ruka Park located on the Saarua slopes in Ruka has undergone a complete renovation with an investment of approximately 2 million euros to meet international competition and World Cup standards. Changes include alterations to the slope's profile, installation of an energy-efficient automatic snowmaking system, and effective LED lighting.

Ruka Ski Resort has begun constructing a new attraction. The alpine coaster from the top of the fell will be the first of its kind in Finland. In addition, gravity-powered motorless mountain carts will be introduced, allowing visitors to race down from the heights.

Ruka-Kuusamo has now focused on assembling the area's route network into suitable and scenically stunning circular routes. The gravel route network consists of several hubs, with the largest being in Ruka village and Kuusamo centre. Additionally, there are intersections in Oivanki and Käylä.
The routes can be combined in various ways, so there is something for gravel enthusiasts, those new to the discipline, and families looking to cycle together.

The hotel will have about 220 rooms, a restaurant, and a café. The earliest opening target is set for 2027.
Parking spaces will be located in an underground garage beneath the hotel. A pedestrian approaching from the direction of Ruka village will encounter a cozy entrance plaza located among the buildings, featuring the reception and café with terraces.
